F&N State Staff Conference Postponed

" The Texas Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Division is postponing the State Staff Conference scheduled for the week of August 28, 2017, due to weather. Food and Nutrition Staff and Education Service Center Staff should look to TDA emails for more information.

Due to inclement weather, the Food and Nutrition State Staff Conference scheduled for the week of August 28, 2017, has been postponed. Any staff planning to fly to Austin for the Conference should call their airline to cancel the flight. Airlines are still waiving fees for cancellations. New conference dates will be communicated to everyone individually.

Assistant Commissioner Angela Olige and the Food and Nutrition Administrators will be meeting to determine any further actions. Look for additional TDA emails for more information. TDA Food and Nutrition staff should call the inclement weather hotline at (512) 463-4040 for information about office closures.
