Commissioner Staples addresses the child nutrition honorees to thank them for providing Texas' children with healthy meals.
 

Texas Department of Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples visited an Austin Head Start child center to present certificates to several outstanding cafeteria employees as part of Child Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week.

Commissioner Staples presents Maria Melendez with a proclamation recognizing her service as an outstanding child nutrition employee.

Kerrville ISD turns the tables at the "Serving with the Stars" recognition and awards luncheon to celebrate Child Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week.

Child Nutrition Director Debbie Baerwald said, "I appreciate each and every one, as each individual has talents and strengths causing us to "shine" as we improve student achievement through nutrition."
