FDP: USDA Foods Ordering Updates

Published: 140 days ago

CSFP:
  • Calendar Year (CY) 2025 orders placed by TDA on behalf of food banks were rolled up in WBSCM by 9/27/24 for delivery periods of January 2025 through March 2025.
  • Ready to Eat (RTE) Cereals - Available for States to order for CY2025 as full truckload quantities to each food bank destination.  Please prepare to accommodate the increased quantities of these RTE Cereals:
o    110373 Cereal Wheat Shredded = 2,016 cases
o    111732 Cereal Wheat Bran Flakes = 1,344 cases
o    111740 Cereal Corn Flakes = 1,248 cases
o    111741 Cereal Oat Circles = 1,248 cases
•    Multi-Food Warehouse – USDA FNS is working with Paris Brothers to address the current nationwide delivery delay issues, which are mostly impacting FDPIR (Indian Reservations) and States that order directly from this warehouse.  At this time, these delivery delays do not impact Texas as there are no multi-food deliveries currently scheduled or anticipated for the remainder of CY2024
o    Reminder: Per USDA FNS guidance, food banks must be ready to receive all multi-food deliveries on the dedicated “Req. Delivery Date” associated with each “Sales Order #”, should any deliveries occur.  Note: TDA does notify food banks in advance of approved multi-food order.
•    WBSCM Multi-Food Requisition Report search parameters:
o    For CY2024 – 01/01/2024 through 12/31/2024
o    For CY2025 – 01/01/2025 through 12/31/2025

TEFAP:
  • CY 2025 orders placed by food banks were rolled up by TDA in WBWCM by 9/27/24 for the delivery periods of January 2025 through March 2025.
  • CY 2025 orders for delivery periods April 2025 through June 2025 are due in WBSCM by 12/11/2024.
  • Ready to Eat (RTE) Cereals - Available for food banks to order for CY2025.  However, the entire Southwest Region (SWR) is only allowed 9 truckloads per month.  Food banks may place orders for their desired truckload quantities for available delivery periods.  However, truckload approval is at the discretion of the USDA FNS SWR Office.  Please be prepared for possible delivery period changes and/or cancellations of these RTE Cereals:
o    111703 Cereal Toast Wheat = 2,160 cases
o    111732 Cereal Wheat Bran Flakes = 1,344 cases
o    111740 Cereal Corn Flakes = 1,248 cases
o    111741 Cereal Oat Circles = 1,248 cases
•    Seasonal Fruits & Vegetables – WBSCM Catalogs display for CY 2025 and CY 2026.  However, the estimated Entitlement for CY 2026 will be loaded into WBSCM in late-February 2025 to early-March 2025 with a Due Date of 3/12/25.
•    WBSCM Entitlement/Bonus Summary Report – Generate periodically to update your records, track and commit any available “Ent. Balance” towards desired available Materials on open catalogs.

CSFP & TEFAP:
•    WBSCM Requisition Status Report - Generate periodically to update your records “Sales Order Status” of ordered Materials and Quantities of each “Sales Order #”.  Requisition Status Reports search parameters:
o    For CY2024 – 01/01/2024 through 12/31/2024
o    For CY2025 – 01/01/2025 through 12/31/2025
