SFSP Training Announcement
Under 7 CFR 225.7 (a) and 7 CFR 225.15 (d)(1) all NEW and RETURNING Contracting Entities (CEs) applying to operate the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for 2025-2026 are required to complete annual regulatory SFSP training. The SFSP application will not be considered complete until the training requirement is fulfilled. At a minimum, the sponsor’s supervisory personnel responsible for the food service must complete SFSP program administration and operations training available online or at a local ESC Location.
TDA provides three different options that will satisfy SFSP regulatory training requirements:
- TDA-development we-based training
- In-person training hosted at the Education Service Centers
- Live online (virtual) trainings hosted by the Education Service Centers

Description |
| TDA-Developed Web-Based SFSP Training |
The course consists of SFSP basics, responsibilities, finance, procurement, meal service, and program administration.
NOTE: This course is designed to be taken on a computer for optimal functionality. The training will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The course cannot be paused and resumed. If you exit before completion, you will need to start over from the beginning. After completion of this training, a Summer Food Service Program certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
Completion information is not stored, and our system does not allow reproduction of certificates. Please print your certificate immediately upon finishing the course. |

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
